TO BE READ IN CONJUNCTION WITH THE RULES OF GOLF OR ANY TEMPORARY 

 ON THE FAIRWAY
  • The cut edge defines the fairway.
  • Preferred lie is ONE CLUB LENGTH, no closer to the hole.
  •  If the ball is lying within FIVE CLUB LENGTHS of the green, a player may scrape the green as if the ball is on the green, or make good any irregularities caused by previous play or native animals.
ON THE GREEN
  • The ball must be marked before scraping. PENALTY ONE STROKE.
  • Scrapes are to be kept to a minimum and the final scrape to be a minimum of ONE CLUB LENGTH beyond the hole.
  • Deflection of ball into the hole off the ridge of the scrape, PENALTY ONE STROKE.
  • If the ledge of fairway around the green impedes a player’s backswing, the ball may be played from the fairway within 6 inches of the green WITHOUT PENALTY. The rules of the putting green apply.
IN THE BUNKER
  • A ball lying in a depression caused by a native animal or a washaway, may be PLACED within 6 inches not nearer the hole WITHOUT PENALTY.
GUR (Rule 25-1)
  • Include: specially marked areas, collected debris off the fairway, washaways, tractor paths and coloured pegs. Lift and drop WITHOUT PENALTY
OUT OF BOUNDS (Rule 27-1)
  • ON and OVER all firebreaks, the turning circle/car park and all areas inside water storage dam fences. PENALTY STROKE AND DISTANCE
IMMOVABLE OBSTRUCTIONS (Rule 24-2)
  • Clearly defined man-made paths and drains, (NOT BUGGY MADE TRACKS), guarded and staked trees and signage. Lift and drop WITHOUT PENALTY.
NOTE:
These rules may be varied during the year and members
should watch the notice board for details of changes.
Players are requested to carry sand buckets and fill their
divot holes. To assist following groups. Players are requested
to clean excess sand from the cup and smooth an area
within two club lengths of the hole before leaving the green.
